3 Ways to Have a Great Valentine’s Day

by Anonymous on 2007-02-06

How do we really celebrate Valentine’s Day? We spend a pretty penny on a gift for our sweetheart. We present our gift, get a kiss on the cheek and a smile and THAT IS THAT!

I have always said that Valentine’s Day should be a time to reconnect and re-ignite affection for one another. That is done by offering a gift that both of you can share because the most priceless gift you can give your paramour is your love, attention and nurturing which can only be done in a calm, romantic atmosphere. Valentine’s Day is about sharing love, not just handing over a gift.

Here are 3 ways to make this Valentine’s Day one to remember:

· Candlelight Dinner – Pick a romantic restaurant and have a candlelight dinner for 2 with soft music playing in the background. Feast on lobster and filet mignon accompanied by a glass of your favorite wine or champagne.

· Intimate Dinner in the Boudoir – Dress in your sexiest nightwear, sprinkle silk rose petals on the bedroom sheets, light the candles and turn on some romantic music to create the ultimate love nest. Give each other a sensual message, play some romantic games and let nature take its course.

· Add Mystery to the Occasion – Leave notes around stating that your paramour should meet you at a hotel room, a cabin by a lake or your boudoir. Sign the note “from your secret admirer. Set the romantic tone for the evening by wearing someone sexy, offering wine or champagne and feasting on gourmet delicacies from a Romantic Gift Basket or your favorite cheeses and fruits.

I have always said that Valentine’s Day should be a time to reconnect and re-ignite affection for one another. That is done by offering a gift that both of you can share.
Remember, the most priceless gift you can give your paramour is your love, undivided attention and taking time out to nurture one another. This is what Valentine’s Day is really all about.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY TO ALL!
