Cellulite Exercise: The Best Treatment For Cellulite

by Tom Rally on 2007-09-22

If you have cellulite, you know how irritating it is to deal with. The cottage cheese look on your skin makes you feel like you have to hide yourself. Many people try all kinds of treatment for cellulite, but find it impossible to find a permanent solution. Although researchers haven’t yet found a permanent solution themselves, they have found that cellulite exercise is the best treatment for cellulite. This doesn’t come as a surprise to many people considering that exercise has so many benefits for the whole body. It provides you with energy, relieves stress, builds up the immune system, reduces heart problems and other health problems, and help you loose body fat.

The body fat that exercise gets rid of is exactly what helps you loose cellulite. Cellulite exercise reduces body fat, thereby reducing the size of the fat cells that are pushing out on your skin and causing the cellulite. Cellulite exercise focuses on the parts of your body that typically have the most cellulite; such as the back of the thighs, the hips and the buttocks. The primary cellulite exercises that work these areas are cardio workouts, strength training, and stretching.

Getting Started with Cellulite Exercise

Although you will find a number of cellulite treatment supplements, creams, lotions, and laser treatment for getting rid of cellulite, none of these are permanent treatments and often these temporary treatments only work on certain people. So they can be a quick way to lose money and end up feeling disappointed. The safest and best ways to lose cellulite are through improving your diet and doing cellulite exercise. By taking off the fat and toning up the body, there will no longer be any room for the cellulite to appear on your body.

The first cellulite exercise that is recommended has you lying on your side with both knees bent at a ninety degree angle in front of your body. Then you will straighten out your top let and lift it three feet above the ground. Then, slowly bring it down. You will do these leg lifts slowly ten times. Then switch and do the same with the other side. Next you will repeat the whole thing, but instead of bending your bottom leg, you will keep it straight. If done properly, this will work your buttocks, hip, and thighs together.

There are a number of good cellulite exercises that help you work the cellulite areas. So starting researching cellulite exercise online or talk with a trainer at your local gym so you start to reduce the appearance of cellulite.
