The Ad Words Kraze
by Ray Bruning/profitsgain on 2007-09-24Adwords, otherwise known as "Pay Per Click" or affiliate marketing, can be and has been for some people, a very lucrative journeyin the field of internet marketing. Nowhere else can you have a business up and running in 15 minutes with no major working capitol,no inventory, no employees or no experience. Ad words, if done correctly, can earn a person thousands of dollars a week. But, without the proper research or knowledge, canput you out of the game as quickly as you entered it. Most successful internet marketers, or as they're sometimes called "affiliate gurus"did not re-invent the wheel, they just follow suite with what others before them have done. Most techniques and strategies that earn a select few, hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, were all methods that have been tested and and tweeked through trial and error. Today we are now living in the computer age. Where as ten or so years ago a person was considered fortunate toown a computer, much less have internet access. Today, most households own at least one computer and have high speed internet access. But, we're still only in the infancy stage and the internet world is only getting bigger. Those of us who have have dipped out feet in theinternet marketing pool are still considered early pioneers and are reaping the rewards of marketing success. In a few years themarketing field could become saturated and the monitary gain will quite possibly be spread thinner. The key, in my opinion, is too not be too hasty when attempting an affiliate marketing business. There are hundreds of books floating arround the internet. Some good, some not so good. Many of the successful internet gurus have written e-books that supposablycurtail the methods they have used and the techniques you should follow. But, be careful, they actually don't explain their true anddetailed methods. If they did, they may take the risk of losing some profitability. I have purchased numerous e-books in this field overthe last couple of years and I have found that most copywriters seem to share the same information with their own slight twists on it.However, there are a few books out there that truely tell it like it is. Most of the courses I have found do explain the basic principalsand in theory, How to make money through advertising with the major search engines and direct linking to an affiliate company, however,I have also discovered that although you could turn a profit using these basic methods, it is becoming more and more difficult to achieveany long term success through this venue. What most highly successful marketers are doing and are not fully explaining, are, quite simply, list building. They have created a web page and in most cases, several web pages, and are using every possible method of attractingnew subscribers to their list. From there they are what's called back end selling to their respective lists. There are three or four e-booksthat I have purchased and have learned a great deal from and without the information that I received from these books, I probably wouldhave lost a small fortune and moved on to the next business opportunity. Anybody who is truely serious about becoming an online affiliatemarketer should purchase a copy of an e-book written by an affiliate marketing millionare by the name of Charles Ryder. He not only explainsin detail the proper methods to take, he actually teaches the importance of building a list and the course of action he takes when startinga campaign. He sells this book at a very reasonable price and, get this, he gives you all the tools to get started. So, if you want to get started, but don't want to do the work it takes, you won't have to.Charles has provided the top searched keyword terms for the chosen field, a pre-madelanding page, pre-selected successful ads, high converting scripted emails and much much more.
